Radio Santa Ana, a program of Centro Cultural de Mexico in Santa Ana California, launched in June. Centro is a hub of community organizing for tenants rights and other issues for the Mexican-American community. They also operate a school of Mexican folk music. Their programming includes mostly Spanish language shows, but also other indigenous languages of Mexico. They are especially well known for Son Jarocho music, a folk music from Veracruz that has had a major revival and a lot of young new players connected to social movements.
